Job Description:
Are you a competent Art & DT Technician seeking a new role in an outstanding school for immediate start?
This role will involve providing practical assistance in all Design and Technology areas, and contributing to the high quality learning, teaching practices and supporting the vision of the school.
Job responsibilities will include preparing resources, materials and equipment safely for lessons as directed, assisting with the storage and stock control in accordance with health and safety guidelines as well as ensuring the maintenance of the learning environment.
Key Requirements:
*Ability to use wood cutting machinery
*Providing practical support to the teachers within the DT department
*Carrying out practical demonstrations
*Ensuring all equipment is working correctly and well maintained
*Familiar with health & safety procedures
*Immediately available
*Hold right to work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
