Role Overview:
We have an exciting short-term vacancy for an ADOS trained Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist. This role is pivotal in our pre-school autism assessment team, where you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive autism assessments and contributing to the development of tailored intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct thorough autism assessments using the ADOS framework.
*Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
*Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on assessment outcomes.
*Engage with families to offer guidance and support throughout the assessment process.
*Stay up-to-date with best practices in autism assessment and intervention.
Role Requirements for Band 6 Candidates:
*Must be ADOS trained with relevant certification.
*Proven experience in conducting autism assessments with pre-school children.
*Demonstrated ability to provide evidence-based interventions and recommendations.
*Strong assessment and diagnostic skills within the context of autism.
*Effective communication skills for working with children, families, and colleagues.
