Job Description:
Band 8a Senior Pharmacist Team Leader - Women and Children
Location: Uxbridge
Contract: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week), part-time also considered
About the Role:
As a Senior Pharmacist Team Leader, you’ll manage pharmacy services for the Women and Children’s division, ensuring safe, effective, and timely medication supply. You’ll provide leadership, guide cost-effective prescribing practices, and collaborate with senior pharmacy and clinical teams to optimize patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and manage the pharmacy service for the Women and Children’s division.
*Ensure compliance with medication legislation and policies.
*Develop clinical guidelines, protocols, and support medicines management.
*Act as a primary contact for clinical pharmacy matters in Women and Children services.
Requirements:
*MPharm or equivalent qualification, GPhC registered.
*Minimum 4 years of post-registration experience in UK pharmacy practice, with hospital experience preferred.
*Strong leadership, management, and clinical skills.
