Job Description:
Project Worker
A job opportunity has arose for a Project Worker in Peterborough. This is a temporary role for 3 months ongoing
Length: Temporary 3 months ongoing
Hours: 40 (Mon - Fri)
Location: Peterborough
Pay: £15.50 per hour via an umbrella company
The role involves:
• Deliver emotional and life skills based support young people in supported accommodation
• Offer life based support and assist with daily living such as budgeting and preparing to move on into independent accommodation
• Actively involve service users in developing their support plans to reach their individual goals and aspirations
• Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements, sourcing employment and education opportunities
• Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies
• Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low level Anti-Social Behaviour
• Signposting to other support agencies as appropriate including counselling services, drug and alcohol services and housing services
Additional requirements:
• Experience in a similar position working with vulnerable clients
• An enhanced DBS with adults and children’s work force check ideally from within three years or the willingness to obtain a new one
