Job Description:
Prospero Teaching are currently looking for talented and dedicated 1:1 Mentors to join our team and support children in across Dorset.
As a Mentor, you’ll be responsible for offering a range of support to students, from a few hours to multiple sessions per week. You’ll also be required to complete weekly feedback forms, tracking the student’s progress, achievements, and overall development.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
*Location -Dorset and surrounding areas
*Position - Mentor
*Subject - Life skills / Engagement
*Start date - ASAP
*Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
*End date (if applicable) - Various
*Full time/part-time - Part-time / Full-time (work with multiple young people to build hours)
*The minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £20 per hour
*Hours - flexible
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (desirable however not essential)
*Previous experience working in a UK school / as a mentor / with young people in a relevant role
*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references
*Have a minimum of 1 years experience working in an educational setting
