Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Salford Council’s Duty and Assessment Team. This is a full time role, with a fantastic pay rate of £35 - £39 per hour.

Responsibilities:
*Engage with children and their parents.
*Will be reliable and provide stability and ambition for children and their families during the time they are working with us.
*Ensure Assessments are completed in a timely way for children and families who should be getting the rights services at the right time.
*Completion of Child & Family Assessments, coordinating of Child In Need Planning, Strategy Meeting/S 47
*Enquiries to progress to Initial Child Protection Conference.
*Strong reflection and analytical skills and ability to assess and manage risk required.
*Court experience - around initiation of proceedings/ EPO applications etc desirable.
*Knowledge of Signs of Safety and Safe & Together desirable.
Requirements:
*Social Work England registered
*Social Work Degree or equivalent
*Enhanced DBS
