Building Surveyor / Maintenance Surveyor - Borehamwood (inner M25) - £55k + Bonus & Package
We’re working with an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Hertfordshire.
Working within the leasehold management sector exclusively, they oversee a long held portfolio of blocks and estates across the inner M25 and just beyond, acting on behalf of developers, freeholders and resident management companies.
As a result of demand, coupled with a wish to bring more work back in-house (for both fee income and quality control), they now seek to hire an additional Building Surveyor / Maintenance Surveyor for the delivery of major remedial work projects along with regular maintenance and professional building surveying services as follows:
*Degree or equivalent in Building Surveying
*Housing / residential background desirable, particularly leasehold project works (under S20)
*Project management of major projects including remediation works.
*Preparation of Long-Term Maintenance Plans for sinking fund provisions.
*Preparation of building insurance reinstatement cost assessments.
*Condition surveys and defect diagnosis.
*Specification, tender preparation and contract administration on repair and maintenance projects (£20-250k typical value range)
*Understanding of H&S and CDM Regulations.
*Provide technical advice to clients.
The successful Building Surveyor can expect a basic salary up to £55k plus bonus, mileage and benefits in addition to a generous leave entitlement and excellent career progression.
