The Person
Our ideal candidate will have experience in accounting or accounts administration and is ready for the next step in their career. Key skills required for this role include:
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office
*Experience using Sage 50 (or equivalent)
*Ability to work efficiently to agreed deadlines
*Highly motivated, reliable, with a commitment to complete activities
Above all, what matters most is your willingness and ability to do the right thing and maintain high standards.
The Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team with day-to-day transactions.
What your day will look like:
*Completing routine tasks, such as raising invoices in line with business schedules
*Ensuring quality standards are met and customer accounts are fully reconciled
*Managing a high volume of client interactions
*Preparing weekly debtor reports and uploading banking information
*Matching payments on a daily basis
*Reconciling bank statements
*Sending 1st, 2nd, and 3rd reminder letters
*Setting up payment plans and processing credit card payments
*Adhering to company standards and procedures
