Job Description:
Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with a commercial business in Dundee to recruit a Finance Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. Our client are a fast paced, established company based in Dundee who are widely acknowledged for their innovative approach alongside a steadfast reputation for delivering excellent products and services.
Due to a period of sustained growth, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our client and provide a strong support function to the wider finance operations as they continue to expand the business whilst enhancing their own processes and procedures.
*Assist with day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
*Process invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner.
*Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
*Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
*Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
*Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
*Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments to resolve financial queries.
*Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.
To be considered, it is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role with exposure to both purchase and sales ledger. In addition, you will consider yourself an experienced user of Microsoft Excel and will have also worked using financial software eg Sage or Xero. As a person, you will possess strong attention to detail alongside excellent organisational skills and the ability to work both independently or as part of a team.
