Work Pattern: Ideally 5 days on-site; following probation, 2 days remote per week based on meeting obligations
Overview:
We’re looking for a BI Lead to join our dynamic team, turning large datasets into impactful visualizations, streamlining data processes, and championing data governance. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in business performance analytics within a forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Data Visualization & Insights: Translate complex datasets into accessible visualizations for key decision-makers
*Data Capture & ETL: Collaborate with the business to build robust ETL processes and optimize datasets
*Process Improvement: Enhance data capture, transformation, and delivery processes, as well as automation workflows
*Data Governance: Uphold data quality, security, and compliance through effective governance principles and policies
*Mentorship: Oversee the Analytics Team’s workloads, training, and project progress
*KPI Reporting: Develop reports to highlight business performance indicators and identify areas for improvement
*Dashboard Design: Create dashboards that report on critical performance metrics
*Data Technology: Continually challenge and refine data technology for scalability
*Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with senior management to ensure reporting aligns with business expectations
Who We’re Looking For:
*Strong commercial awareness and understanding of management information needs
*Analytical and detail-oriented with a logical approach to complex problems
*Experienced in data automation processes and aware of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Machine Learning technologies
*Proficient in IT data architecture (e.g., Azure, SQL Server, ETL tools) and reporting solutions (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx)
*Skilled in presenting data visually and working with large datasets for business insights
