Slitter Assistant
Location: Bollington, Cheshire
Double Day Shifts: 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm
Salary: £24,916 rising to £30,000 after a successful 3-month Probation
Overtime Rate: 1.5x on Saturdays and 2x on Sundays
Holidays: 5.5 weeks of Holidays

Key Responsibilities:
*Slitting Operations: Assist in operating the slitting machinery, cutting wide rolls of material (such as paper, film, or foil) into narrower rolls using rotary or razor blades.
*Rewinding: Help ensure that the newly slit materials are rewound onto smaller rolls for packaging, further processing, or shipping.
*Material Handling: Support the slitting process for various materials including paper, film, foil, plastics, etc.
*Quality Control: Assist in checking the quality of finished rolls, ensuring accuracy and product consistency.
About You:
*Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
*Willing to learn machine operations and safety protocols.
*Able to work efficiently on a double-day shift pattern.
