About the Role: As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support a student with learning difficulties within a mainstream classroom setting. Your role will involve helping the student access the curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and adapting resources to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities: *Provide 1:1 support for a student with learning difficulties in mainstream classes
*Adapt learning materials and assist in delivering lessons to support the student’s individual learning plan
*Encourage and support the student’s social and emotional development
*Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents
Requirements: *Experience in working with students with special educational needs (essential)
*Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A commitment to promoting an inclusive learning environment
Qualifications are not required, but relevant experience is essential.
