About Us
Westworks is a not-for-profit procurement organisation that links public sector buyers with high quality suppliers to deliver value for money works and services across the built environment.
We are looking for a Business Administrator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator, with great organisational skills, to join our growing business.

The Role
As our Business Administrator, you will lead on administration across the business, in support of our vision ’To harness the power of procurement to create a better future’.
In your role supporting the leadership team, tender delivery, finance and marketing, you will be key to uniting the business. You will be the first point of contact for incoming calls and emails, assisting with basic queries and signposting as required.
You will work closely with the tender delivery team to ensure that we provide excellent customer service to our members and suppliers. You will be responsible for generating and issuing routine correspondence, collating and filing data and tracking activity. You will also be responsible for sharing data with and reporting to the finance and marketing departments, as well as providing them with ad-hoc admin support.
You will provide direct admin support to the leadership team, including meeting/conference admin and support to budget planning.
About You
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate previous business administration experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in navigating systems and processes across an organisation. You should thrive in a high performing environment, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and demonstrate adaptability to support operational needs.
You will be confident and experienced in prioritising your workload and working independently. You will be a clear and confident communicator, both written and orally.
You should be a self-starter with the ability to unravel processes and suggest and implement improvements that drive efficiencies. You will be confident interacting with staff at all levels in the business. A team player, you will be highly organised, proactive and have a solution focussed approach.
You will have demonstrable experience of working on multiple workstreams at any one time and be confident in learning new concepts and ways of working.
A skilled user of MS Office software, you will also be adept at learning to use new systems.
We do not expect you to have any procurement experience or knowledge of the built environment. What is important to us are your transferrable skills, attitude, approach to work and ability to deliver quality output, whilst supporting our continuous improvement.
