Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join a large nationwide law firm with several offices across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated IT professional to contribute to a high-performing team, ensuring the robust operation and continuous improvement of the firm’s IT infrastructure.
Infrastructure Engineer
Newcastle City Centre/Hybrid
£35,000 - £45,000
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to maintain seamless IT operations.
*Manage and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems.
*Collaborate with IT teams to plan and implement system upgrades and new technologies.
*Oversee user account management and security configurations in Active Directory.
*Support hybrid work solutions, assisting with remote access and connectivity.
*Document best practices and IT procedures for efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Required Technical Skills:
*Expertise in Windows Server, Office 365, and Active Directory.
*Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
*Solid understanding of networking (routers, switches, firewalls).
*Strong problem-solving skills for complex IT issues.
*Experience with cloud services like Azure is a plus.
