Lead Business Analyst | Data Warehousing | London Market | City of London

Location: City of London (Minimum 2 days on-site)
Conveniently located 15 minutes from Liverpool Street, Bank, and London Bridge, and 5 minutes from Fenchurch Street.
Compensation: Basic up to £95,000 plus a plethora of excellent benefits including various insurances, bonus, leave, investments etc. Salary is dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
*Data Expertise: Act as a data subject matter expert for our new data warehousing platform (Snowflake), supporting business stakeholders and IT colleagues.
*Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements, documenting and translating these into actionable development stories and tasks.
*Solution Design: Leverage your knowledge of business areas, products, and systems to drive effective and innovative technical solutions.
*Quality Assurance Support: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure robust testing processes for all data platform changes.
*Requirements Elicitation: Conduct workshops and 1-to-1 interviews to capture detailed requirements and facilitate system prototype demonstrations for validation.
*Prioritization Support: Assist the digital product manager in prioritizing business requirements to align with key business outcomes.
Desired Skills & Experience:
*Business Analysis: Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies in an IT context.
*Domain Expertise: Experience in the General and London Market Insurance sectors.
*Data Lineage: Skilled in defining data lineage from source systems to an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
*Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and ceremonies.
*Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
*Problem Solving: Proven ability to influence and enhance processes and application quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Greenfield Experience: Experience with greenfield Data Warehouse builds is highly desirable.
*Agile Tools: Familiarity with JIRA or similar agile tools.
*Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to query databases for data retrieval.
