Job Description:
Senior Analytics Engineer:
My client are a household name in the Fintech space and are currently looking to add an Analytics Engineer to their current team. You will own data modelling and DBT capabilities and you’ll be the go to DBT expert in the team. The expectation is that you also help and upskill other analysts in the team when needed. This is a permanent role based in London and is hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
*Take ownership of the dbt setup, implementing best practices, optimizing queries, and ensuring the creation of robust, scalable models.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on data modelling requirements and ensure consistency across the organisation.
*Mentor and upskill team members, promoting the value of dbt and fostering a culture of data excellence within the company.
*Provide expert guidance to improve data workflows, driving efficiency and scalability across all data processes.
Requirements:
*Proven ability to manage complex models with significant data transformations.
*Proven and extensive experience in DBT, SQL, and ideally Snowflake.
*A background in Analytics Engineering, specifically data modelling.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
What will make you stand out:
*A background in Analytics Engineering, specifically data modelling.
*Tenure and experience in smaller-scale, high-growth environments are highly valued.
*Exposure to programming languages such as: Python.
