Accounts Assistant
Wakefield
£25,000 - £30,000
Temp Contract
Elevation Accountancy and Finance are recruiting exclusively with a well established company based in Wakefield looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join the company on a temporary contract.
Our client is a manufacturing company with a strong presence in the market they operate in, not only due to their product but their long standing reputation with their clients. Not only do our client represent themselves well externally, but their low turn over of staff is maintained by a positive workplace culture combined with excellent benefits.
The role of Accounts Assistant will consist of the follow responsibilities:
*Purchase Ledger Duties
*Sales Ledger Duties
*Coding invoices
*Statement reconciliations
*Company credit card payments
*Allocating payments
*Setting up new accounts
*Petty cash
Skills required for the role of Accounts Assistant
*1+ years experience working as an Accounts Assistant (within a manufacturing firm would be highly beneficial)
*AAT qualified or studying for accountancy qualifications
