Commissioning Engineer (Gas / Diesel Generators)
£45,000 - £50,000 + OTE (£55K-£70K) + Overtime + Company Car + Loyalty Bonus + Training + Progression + Company Benefits

Are you an experienced engineer with a background in commissioning, seeking to join an award-winning UK company, that offer on-the-job training, a company car, and clear pathways to management roles?
This fast-growing company are UK leaders in critical power installations, sales, hire and maintenance. They are looking to take on skilled engineers to keep up with an ever increasing workload.
In this varied role, you will be responsible for covering a regional area in the Southeast, where you’ll carry out site visits to assess generator installations and prepare them for commissioning. You’ll work closely with project managers, electrical engineers, and field technicians to ensure all generators are installed, tested, and fully operational. Additionally, you will be required to travel occasionally for other site visits.
This exciting and varied role would suit a Generator Engineer with a background in commissioning, installation or servicing who is looking for a role in a UK leading company that offer on the job training, overtime and the potential to increase your salary package through overtime.
The Role:
*Conduct site visits to assess generator installations and prepare for commissioning
*Collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning plans and schedules
*Perform functional tests, load tests, and performance tests on generators
*Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during commissioning
*Monday to Friday (40 hours a week)
*Willing to travel and work away (compensation package)
The Person:
*NVQ or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
*Ability to interpret and follow electrical drawings and schedules
*Electrically qualified & registered
*Experience working with generators is desirable
