SEN Teaching Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support educators in creating a positive learning environment for children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, including autism.
Duties
*Assist the teacher in planning and implementing educational activities tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
*Support children in their daily tasks, ensuring they understand instructions and can participate fully in classroom activities.
*Foster a safe and nurturing environment for all students, particularly those requiring special education support.
*Communicate effectively with students to encourage engagement and understanding of lesson materials.
*Work closely with children on the autism spectrum, employing strategies that promote their learning and social interaction.
Requirements
*Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for supporting children with autism is highly desirable.
*Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
