Description
*Assisting with the preparation of financial statements
*Performing account reconciliations
*Assisting with budget and forecast preparation
*Participating in internal audits and assisting in compliance reviews
*Assisting with tax computations and returns
*Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
*Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis
*Managing the petty cash
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
*Proficiency in accounting software
*Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
*Excellent problem-solving abilities
*Good understanding of financial and accounting procedures
