Our client, a prominent organisation in the South-West experiencing sustained growth, seeks a seasoned Finance Business Partner to join their Finance Team on a permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team, provide crucial support to senior management, and make a significant impact on the business’s strategic direction and performance.
As the Finance Business Partner, you will be integral to the business, responsible for providing strategic financial insights, supporting decision-making processes, and ensuring alignment between financial goals and operational objectives.
The responsibilities:
*Analyse P&L and management accounts to drive profitability.
*Lead annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
*Produce financial reports and business cases for decision-making.
*Present financials to operational management in monthly meetings.
*Develop business partnering role with Board members.
*Challenge revenue and costs to maximise profit margins.
*Interpret financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
*Improve finance processes and promote best practices.
*Evaluate business tenders and capital projects for financial viability.
*Manage staff members and commercialise new business solutions.
The candidate:
*Qualified accountant with proven experience in a commercial finance environment.
*Strong track record of collaborating with senior management and directors.
*Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
*Advanced analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
*Proficient in financial software, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems preferred.
