Production Operative
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Factory/Manufacturing Tester to join our team in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing pressure and leak testing on finished products and conducting inspections to ensure quality standards are met. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to conduct basic fault-finding on electro/mechanical sub-assemblies and finished products.
Key Responsibilities: *Testing and Inspection: Perform pressure and leak tests, inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specified quality and performance standards.
*Problem Analysis and Fault-Finding: Diagnose issues and perform basic fault-finding on both electro/mechanical sub-assemblies and completed products to identify any defects or irregularities.
*Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate a willingness to take on varied tasks across different departments as required to support overall manufacturing goals.
Skills and Experience: *Technical Aptitude: Understanding of testing procedures, particularly related to pressure and leak testing.
*Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems, troubleshoot, and conduct basic fault-finding.
*Physical Stamina: Comfortable performing tasks that may be physically strenuous.
*Adaptability: Flexibility to support multiple areas within the company as needed.
Qualifications: *Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential
*Familiarity with electro/mechanical systems is beneficial.
