Commercial Coordinator (Hair and Beauty)

Hours; Full time (37hrs per week, all year round)

About the Role
We are looking for an individual to join our dynamic, passionate team. As a Hair and Beauty Commercial Coordinator, you will coordinate the operation of the commercial salon, by looking at ways to increase sales and revenue, and ensuring clients return by delivering a VIP experience.
As Commercial Coordinator (Hair and Beauty) you will also assess the performance of our learners within other commercial environments. You will have recent industry experience within a reception / customer service / retail environment.
As the successful candidate you will communicate and liaise with the teaching department to plan the commercial element in order to promote and advertise to clients. It is important you understand what delivery is being had to ensure the correct treatments can be offered at the correct time.
One key aspect of this role is the assessing of learners and apprentice’s completing Reception and Sales modules whilst on work placement with employers or for Apprentices, on employers’ premises. You will manage your diary in regard to employer visits and will need to meet the KPIs in relation to employer relations.
You will liaise with the Group Marketing Team to provide content for social media promotions, salon information and for celebrating learner success. Additionally, you will be required to assist in reception duties, welcoming clients to the Salon, taking payments and ensure client satisfaction.

To be our Commercial Coordinator (Hair and Beauty) you will have experience working in a commercial salon with relevant professional industry experience, including sales experience and proven success with this.
You should hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths. You will have a Level 3 vocational qualification and hold an Assessors Award (CAVA/A1).
Department Info The Commercial Coordinator role will report directly to the Curriculum Manager, and work closely with the Curriculum Team Leaders, Lecturers, Trainers and Technicians.
