Works Supervisors - Norfolk (Anonymous Posting)
An established leader in the Utilities and Reinstatement sector is seeking two experienced Works Supervisors for infrastructure gas projects based in Norfolk. This role offers a unique opportunity for professionals with strong supervisory skills and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
The Role: Our client is looking for Works Supervisors to oversee on-site teams managing gas utility projects. The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and collaborating closely with Tier 1 contractors. Candidates who do not yet hold SCO19 qualifications will have access to training.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise site teams to ensure project specifications and safety guidelines are strictly followed.
*Oversee project schedules and day-to-day operations.
*Provide team guidance, coordinate tasks, and address on-site issues as they arise.
*Uphold gas safety regulations and encourage a safety-focused work environment.
*Report on project progress, site challenges, and compliance to the Project Manager.
Qualifications:
*Demonstrable experience in supervising gas utility infrastructure projects.
*Essential background working with Tier 1 contractors.
*SCO gas qualifications (SCO19 preferred), with training available if required.
*Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
