Job Purpose *Processing client paperwork, including bank transactions and reconciliations
*Managing debtor and creditor reconciliations as needed
*Posting journals for payroll, depreciation, and other key accounting tasks
*Handling bookkeeping duties and maintaining accurate financial records for clients
*Preparing management accounts and financial reports for review
*Analysing financial data and providing insights to small business clients

The Successful Candidate *Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting and bookkeeping (experience in an accountancy practice is a plus but not essential)
*Ideally holds an AAT qualification (though not required)
*Proficient in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and Excel
*Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients directly
*Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
*Organised, with the ability to manage multiple clients from various industries and meet deadlines
