Futures recruitment are looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a market leading manufacturing business.
The successful Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be experienced in the design of Power Transformers, anything over 132KV. Your time will be split between hands-on design work and managing customer expectations / project management.
Electrical Design Engineer - Role and Responsibilities – Design / AutoCAD / Inventor / Electrical Engineering / Special Purpose Machinery
*Electrical design of specialist purpose machinery and components
*Build & manage 3D models & 2D manufacturing drawings
*Produce electrical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs & business objectives
*Problem solving - experience of delivering solutions to technical problems
*Understanding of BS/ISO application
Electrical Design Engineer - Skills and Abilities – Design / AutoCAD / Inventor / Electrical Engineering / Special Purpose Machinery
*A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
*A relevant qualification in an electrical engineering discipline
*Good understanding of electrical engineering principles
*Good CAD skills – 2D AutoCAD & 3D Autodesk Inventor
*Team player able to work on own initiative
