Job Description:
Data Analyst - intiial 6 month contract.
This role will operate within a global Business Execution team, working with large data sets providing detailed analysis, identifying and remediating data quality issues.
Responsibilities:
*Consolidate and examine headcount data for completeness and accuracy.
*Analysis of headcount and project data for monthly snapshots.
*Preparation of data for uploads into project tracking systems.
*Assist with resource analytics and reporting.
*Review large volumes of data for accuracy, identification of data exceptions and remediation.
*Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding the bank, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
*Proven analytical skills and data analysis experience.
*Demonstrated attention to detail.
*Advanced Excel expertise to manage large volumes of data - including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, and other formulas.
*Experience with databases and information management.
*Consistently demonstrates clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
*Presentation experience in PowerPoint preferable.
*Must be extremely organized, motivated and a self-starter.
*Desire to improve processes, a willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers.
At interview, candidates will be required to clearly articulate Excel expertise, attention to detail and experience of working with large data sets.
