Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Location: Harlow
Salary: £47,000 to £50,000
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Responsible for: Warehouse Team (Loaders, Packers, and Stock Control)

If you have extensive experience in warehouse management, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of inventory control and food safety protocols, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and despatch, packaging materials, and raw materials. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and implement FIFO principles to optimise stock rotation and minimise waste.
Warehouse Operations: Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities including packing, storage, and loading operations. Ensure the timely and efficient flow of materials between production and the warehouse, while maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health and food safety regulations.
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, assigning tasks, and providing training on operational and safety procedures. Foster a safety-first culture and conduct regular training and risk assessments in line with industry standards.
Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the transport team to coordinate deliveries, ensuring on-time shipments to customers. Work closely with production teams to align warehouse activities with milling schedules.
Quality Control and Food Safety: Ensure that all products are stored and handled according to food safety and quality standards, conducting regular inspections and monitoring for cleanliness and product integrity.
Equipment and Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Reporting and Documentation: Generate reports on inventory levels, warehouse performance, and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of product movements and prepare reports for management, identifying opportunities for improvement.
