Shifts: Flexible to work Mornings and Afternoons
Rates: Days: £17.60 PAYE or £36608 PERMANENTLY
O/T x 1.33
Hours per week: 40 hours a week (basic) 52 Average
Start date: ASAP

Client Summary:
Our client is a market leader and well established business within the rolling stock restoration and manufacturing sector. They are looking for individuals who want are looking to join a busy workshop with a growing business.
Position Summary:
This role would require individuals to weld packers and central stands into refurbished freight wagons. Requiring knowledge and experience of positional MIG welding, such as Vertical Up - fillet and butt joints. This role will include all the weld preparation and final weld work. Including all the metal prep, cleaning and completing the final weld to a high standard - which is to be visually inspected.
Essential Experience:
* Previous positional welding experience - MIG
* Able to complete all preparation work
* Be able to complete Test bars (codings) to meet the requirements of the role - (MIG on Mild Steel)
* Be able to work safely in an industrial environment
* Be able to follow written work instructions
* Ability to set and use welding equipment
* Must be time served and apprentice trained Welder (NVQ, City & Guilds, ETC)
Desirable Experience:
* Previous coded welding experience
* Large industrial welding experience
* Rail experience
