Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative R&D Scientist to join the Research and Development team in the Midlands. The R&D Scientist will play a key role in formulation, testing, and product analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Conduct scientific experiments, including reactions, purification, extractions, and characterization of intermediates and final products.
*Analyse samples using HPLC, spectroscopic techniques, and evaluate chemical stability.
*Maintain accurate records of all research activities.
*Produce high-quality written reports and manage time effectively.
*Adhere to safety guidelines, exhibiting strong awareness of safe work practices.
*Assist with routine maintenance of lab equipment and other lab-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
*BSc in Science, with a solid foundation in organic chemistry and analytical techniques.
*Hands-on experience in molecular analysis and characterization using HPLC, GC, MS, and related techniques.
*Enthusiasm for learning new methods and technologies, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
*Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in acquiring new technical skills.
*Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
