Supply Teaching Assistant - SEND School (Bootle) Position: Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Bootle, Liverpool
Contract Type: Temporary / Supply

The Role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support for students with a range of SEND, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, adapting tasks to meet individual needs.
*Assist with personal care where required.
*Implement behaviour management strategies to support a calm and productive classroom environment.
*Support the teacher in implementing IEPs (Individual Education Plans).
*Encourage student’s social, emotional, and academic development.
Requirements:
*Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
*A compassionate and patient approach to learning support.
*A flexible and adaptable attitude.
*Ability to travel to various SEND schools in Bootle.
*Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
