Accounts Manager - Primary School (North London)
Start Date: January 2025
Location: North London
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive
Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Manager to join a thriving Primary School in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to contribute to the education sector by ensuring the smooth financial operations of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the day-to-day financial management of the school, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
*Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies specific to the education sector.
*Handle payroll, invoicing, and supplier payments with accuracy and efficiency.
*Liaise with senior leadership and governors, providing financial advice and support for decision-making processes.
*Manage and utilise financial software, including proficient use of Excel for detailed financial analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
*Qualified with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
*Proven experience in financial management, preferably within a school setting.
*Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial management software.
*Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
