Job Description:
Your new company
You will be joining a high-profile main contractor working on water schemes in the Shropshire area. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water industry and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Engineer.
Your new role
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
*Ensuring project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance
*Liaising with subcontractors, site management and suppliers
*Maintaining good client relationships at all levels
*Monitoring subcontract performance
*Ensuring all applications for payment are made on/before the due date
*Assisting in the production of contract programmes, monitoring programmes as well as producing progress reports.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
*Basic engineering background (electrical and/or mechanical)
*Working knowledge of NEC contracts
*Knowledge of water treatment processes
*CDM and health & safety knowledge.
