Job Description:
Our client is a successful software house building and selling products to Partners and End Clients. The core products are used in Enterprise environments for Migration Projects.
The Services team is the backbone of their business delivering projects to the highest standards with a clear understanding of how to create the right outcome for their customer. They continually find ways to grow the Services portfolio and consistently feedback improvement ideas to the product management team. A Service Delivery Consultant is the day to day driving force of project delivery, executing multiple projects at the same time to the highest standards and due to growth, we are seeking another permanent employee.
This is a technically hands on role requiring SQL and other skills to implement products into the Customers environment to then deliver Enterprise scale migrations
Responsibilities will include:
*Setting up projects with Partners and relevant team members
*Evangelising the value of Client Services and Products to Partners and their clients
*Executing projects to time and quality standards
*Day to day Partner / client management; reporting and general communication
*Supporting the Global Director of Services with activities to set out Services strategy and plans
*Represent the Services team on calls
*Contributing to driving continual improvement in Services Delivery and Product quality
A Service Delivery Consultant is expected to be responsible and accountable for these areas:
Day to day Services delivery
*Update Head of Services with current project statuses and metrics
*Perform deployment/configuration/pilot phases of new projects
*Track and chase any support/engineering tickets for services projects
*Knowledge transfer migration knowledge
*Expand product knowledge in new product lines
*Deliver full migration projects
*Develop new processes and procedures to continually improve delivery
Partner management
*Update partner/clients on project statuses
*Track migration license usages
*Communicate with partner PM’s and engineering teams with relevant projects
The key outputs expected from this role include, but are not limited to:
*Projects delivered on time to quality standards
*Project handover to Partner / Client upon completion
*Project reviews / lessons learned
*Follow services delivery standards
*Services delivery tracking reporting
*Feedback of improvements and defects into Head of Services
The successfully candidate must have these skills and experience:
*Clear and concise communication skills
*Experience delivering migration projects
*Ability to knowledge transfer
*Ability to learn and deliver services using new products as they are included in the Services remit
*Email and general IT products and concepts
*Good Office 365 and Azure experience
*Good Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server experience
The successful candidate would ideally have these, although we will train if necessary:
*Email archiving
*Deeper knowledge of:
- Azure and Cloud based functions
- SharePoint
- Confluence
- Zendesk
