Job Description:
Page Personnel are working alongside a very successful company based in Chorley. They are seeking a meticulous Purchase Ledger Clerk to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets in the Accounting & Finance department of a well-established transport & distribution company located in Chorley.

Description
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for:
*Accurately processing invoices and completing payment runs.
*Reconciling supplier statements and handling queries.
*Handling petty cash and processing staff expenses.
*Assisting in the preparation of month-end reports.
*Maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor files and file numbers.
*Preparing analyses of accounts, as required.
*Supporting the wider finance team as required.
*Complying with all company and governmental financial regulations.
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
*A strong understanding of accounting principles.
*Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
*Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
*The ability to work with large volumes of data.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
