Job Description:
Our client, a leading and international manufacturer is seeking an Assembly Fitter to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to growth our client is looking for an Assembly Fitter to join their team, where you will be responsible for building and assembling high-quality products for their clients and dealers, ensuring you maintain high standards and stick to strict guidelines within the role.
The ideal candidate will preferably have experience in a similar Assembly Fitter role, and be used to working both independently and as part of a team in a hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities:
- To fit and assemble fabricated parts or subassemblies
- To install valves, pumps and motors
- Ensure the cable tying of hoses is completed to a neat and high standard
- Complete a full product range fault diagnosis and ensure basic checks are completed
- Dismantle faulty assemblies and repair or replace defective parts
- Ability to lift and set large and awkward components
Key Experience:
- Completed a technical apprenticeship or equivalent training
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy is required at all times
- Good time management
- Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, electrics and pneumatics would be advantageous
- Ability to communicate and liaise between departments and teams within the business
