Job Title: Deputy Store Manager
Location: Glasgow
Pay up to £27,500 per annum + Bonus
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time, 40hrs a week, Rotating Weekends
Working Pattern: Full Time
Our client, a leading retail organisation, is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Deputy Store Manager to join their team. As the Deputy Store Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service, exceeding sales targets, and maintaining excellent store standards.
Responsibilities:
*Take ownership of the store and lead the team in providing exceptional customer service to exceed sales targets.
*Drive a high customer service culture to exceed customer expectations.
*Support the recruitment, training, and motivation of the store team.
*Maintain and update a high level of product knowledge within the team.
*Ensure excellent store standards of display, point of sale, and housekeeping.
*Carry out tasks as directed by the Retail Ops team and other head office personnel within the required timeframe.
*Ensure the security of company cash, stock, equipment, and premises.
*Follow company policies on health & safety and take responsibility for a safe workplace.
*Keep the store stock file accurate through regular audits and good housekeeping.

*Customer focused with a target-oriented mindset.
*Able to lead a team by example and work collaboratively as a team player.
*Clear and effective communicator.
*Organised and able to plan own work and that of others.
*Works well under pressure and has excellent attention to detail.
*Deadline oriented and computer literate (Word, Excel, email/internet).
*Has a positive outlook and an interest in the organisation’s brand and products.
*Experienced in working with people on all levels.
*Highly organised and able to plan the work of others.
*Ability to coach and develop others to succeed.
*Excellent listening and supportive skills.
