Job Description:
Are you a procurement enthusiast ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for a Procurement Officer to join our valued clients small and friendly team! In this role, you’ll help drive cost-effective, quality services by supporting the procurement processes across various categories and working closely with stakeholders and suppliers.
What You’ll Be Doing: *Supporting category management and procurement projects to make sure we’re getting the best value.
*Analyzing market trends, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring contract compliance in your assigned categories.
*Providing project support to the team by collecting and interpreting data to guide our procurement strategies.
*Helping with the full tendering process, from preparing documents to evaluating bids and awarding contracts.
*Working with our team and stakeholders to find cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement practices.
What We’re Looking For: *Degree or CIPS qualification (or equivalent) is a plus.
*Good understanding of procurement systems and regulations like the EU Procurement Directives.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (think VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and more).
*Strong analytical skills, plus experience with large data sets.
*A great communicator with a knack for influencing and resolving issues.
