Job Description:
Our client, a prestigious London charity, is currently seeking a temporary, part-time (10 hours per week) Finance Officer, running for 3-months in the first instance, working remotely.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
*Completing financial administration tasks to ensure that financial data is accurate.
*Acting as a liaison between budget holders and the financial team.
*Ensuring effective running of invoicing and credit control procedures, including liaising with the financial team to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.
*Collaborating with the wider organisation, supporting the smooth running of the financial management infrastructure.
*Completing monthly reconciliation reports of the income and expenditure for the subcontractors.
*Attending and minuting the Finance Committee meetings.
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
*Previous experience in a similar role working within the not-for-profit sector.
*A proactive and flexible working approach.
*Strong experience working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
*Excellent IT skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
*Strong practical understanding of information governance, data protection and risk management.
*Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
This role is scheduled to interview at the end of November for an immediate start, so you will need to be available immediately or at short notice to be considered.
