Job Description:
A specialist in the design and manufacture of cutting-edge mechanical handling solutions with a reputation for quality and innovation, is now seeking a Fabricator to join their growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine specifications and materials required.
*Fabricate, assemble, and install metal structures and components using a variety of tools, machines, and welding techniques.
*Operate cutting, bending, welding, and grinding equipment to shape metal parts to exact specifications.
*Ensure all fabrication processes meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.
*Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet design requirements.
*Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to company health and safety guidelines.
*Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Fabricator, or in a similar role.
*Proficient in the use of welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication tools and machinery.
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
*Strong knowledge of materials, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
*Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
*Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Health and safety awareness in a fabrication environment.
*Experience with saw, drilling, tapping
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am to 5pm
Salary: £13-£15
