We are looking to hire a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to join our busy Supply chain team Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operational projects such as holding suppliers and distributors accountable to meeting stated performance KPIs, product and supplier issue resolution, mitigating risk due to obsolete inventory (waste), promotional and allocation planning, seasonal forecasting, nominated line stock management, new line listings for newly negotiated items and/or product changes, and supplier management. This role is also responsible for the communication of operational product, supply and service issues to relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
*Support the safe sourcing of great products and services
*Support the effective management of products through correct routes to market
*Control nominated lines within the distributors
*Range management of new lines/exit of old lines
*Ensuring suppliers and distributors have the necessary product & volume information
*Management of accurate promotional forecasts
*Mitigate financial risk of obsolete inventory (waste)
*Provide volume analysis
*Supplier reviews
*Manage onboarding of new suppliers
*Manage end-to-end implementation from new line forms to communication of product switches
*Identify product rationalisation opportunities
*Advise on RTM options
*Support processing of price files
Experience required:
*Preferably 1 - 2 years supply chain/buying experience
*Working knowledge of end to end supply chain
*Strong customer service, supplier accountability and issue resolution skills
*Ability to work in an environment with changing stakeholder needs, priorities and timelines
*Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
*Excellent numeracy skills
*Well organised and logical thinker
*Good communication skills
