Job Description:
Commercial Insurance Handler
Nottingham
Salary - £28,000 - £35,000
We are working with an established insurance broker who is looking for a Commercial Insurance Handler to deal with commercial combined, SME and other related insurance products based in Nottingham.
The Role:
*To provide new business quotations and re-market existing cases including motor fleet.
*To ensure the broking strategy for this Nottingham based Insurance Broker is followed.
*To be responsible for ensuring the business process is followed.
*To be responsible for ensuring records are compliant.
*To provide regular management information when requested.
*To carry out all aspects of internal underwriting administration for new cases until handover.
*Undertake specific projects as required.
*Assisting Account Directors/Executives where required.
*Attend courses as directed.
*Develop relationships with preferred insurers.
The Required Skills:
*Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
*Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
*Self-motivated and proactive with a results-oriented mindset.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office
*Knowledge of FCA
*Knowledge of Law of Agency, Data Protection Act and money laundering requirements.
*Knowledge of the internal procedures as laid down in the compliance manual.
*Knowledge of the company’s T&C requirements
