Assistant Voids Repairs Manager
Royal Borough of Greenwich
Salary: £51,093 - £54,129 per annum
Location: Greenwich, London
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking an experienced Assistant Voids Repairs Manager to support the Voids Repairs team in ensuring timely, high-quality, and safe preparation of properties for new residents. This role emphasises process improvement, team leadership, and budget management to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of void property management.
Key Responsibilities: *Oversee void processes from handover to completion, ensuring properties are safe, compliant, and ready for occupancy.
*Manage staff and contractors, focusing on service quality, customer care, and adherence to health and safety standards.
*Improve turnaround times and ensure compliance with landlord, safety, and regulatory standards.
*Collaborate with Housing Management, Allocations, and other teams to streamline the voids process and improve the resident experience.
*Maintain performance standards, provide training, and support staff development while managing budgets and resources effectively.
*Use data-driven insights to monitor, report on, and enhance project outcomes and team performance.
About You: *Qualifications: Recognised qualification in Project Management (Prince2 or similar); NEBOSH or IOSH preferred.
*Experience: Demonstrated background in project management within housing or a customer-focused environment, with strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
*Skills: Effective leadership and problem-solving skills, with strong capabilities in process optimisation, budget management, and team development.
*Knowledge: In-depth understanding of health and safety legislation, compliance, and best practices.
