Key Responsibilities for a Maths Teacher
*Design engaging and effective maths lessons that meet curriculum standards and support students’ learning.
*Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing regular feedback to help them achieve their potential.
*Create a focused, positive, and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and managing behavior in line with school policies.
*Offer additional support to students who may need extra help, tailoring approaches to suit diverse learning needs.
*Foster a love of learning by making maths accessible, relevant, and engaging.
Requirements for a Maths Teacher
*A degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or QTS).
*Previous experience teaching maths in a secondary school setting is preferred.
*Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for inspiring young learners.
