About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Teacher of Science to join our Secondary School in Warrigton for the entire academic year. This unique role involves teaching all aspects of Science-Biology, Physics, and Chemistry-to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The successful candidate will:
Deliver engaging and accessible Science lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
Cover the full Science curriculum, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education in all three scientific disciplines.
Create a positive and supportive classroom environment, fostering a love of learning and curiosity in students.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored support to help each student achieve their potential.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a Science-related subject.
Experience teaching Science across all three disciplines (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the KS4 curriculum.
Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse needs and backgrounds, particularly within an Alternative Provision setting.
Strong classroom management skills, creativity in lesson planning, and a compassionate approach to teaching.
