Job Vacancy: Residential Support Worker (Special Needs School)
Location: Stourbridge
Contract Type: Full time
Salary: [ £85 = £95 }

*We are now looking for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team and contribute to the positive impact we make in the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities: *Support Students: Work alongside teaching staff and other professionals to provide high-quality care and support to students with special educational needs, both in the school and residential settings.
*Promote Wellbeing: Ensure that students feel safe, valued, and supported, promoting their emotional and physical well-being in all aspects of school life.
*Develop Individual Plans: Support the development and delivery of tailored care plans for each student, ensuring their individual needs are met and promoting their personal growth and independence.
*Residential Care: Assist with daily living activities in the residential setting, including mealtimes, personal care, bedtime routines, and recreational activities.
*Communication: Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to share progress and ensure consistent and high-quality care across all environments.
*Safeguarding: Promote a culture of safeguarding, ensuring that students are protected from harm and that any concerns are raised and addressed appropriately.
Person Specification: *Experience: Experience in working with children or young people with special educational needs, autism, or learning disabilities is highly desirable, though not essential.
*Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
*Qualifications: A relevant qualification in health, social care, or education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent) is desirable but not essential MUST HOLD BOTH CHILD AND ADULT DBS
*Commitment: A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with special needs and a strong desire to make a positive difference in their lives.
*Flexibility: Ability to work on a shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays, as required.
