DevOps Release Engineer: Ageas is seeking an experienced and result driven DevOps Release Engineer to work as a part of a cross-functional team, with hands on experience working within the organisation’s software development lifecycle. This role heavily focuses on day-to-day management of application build, release and deploy aspects to deliver faster and safer continuous high-quality software to business.

Main Responsibilities as DevOps Release Engineer: 
*Take ownership of creating and maintaining exiting CI/CD solutions (Jenkins & Azure DevOps) to meet build, test, release and deploy & security requirements.
*Manage and perform application build, package and software release management process to deploy to all environments
*Hands on proven experience in developing standardised, automated build & release processes to support agile delivery methodology.
*Define, create & manage application software code branches to support application branching approach. Experience with source code management system e.g. git is essential.
*Liaise with 3rd party vendors for application support pertaining to DevOps and production deployment.
Skills and experience you need as DevOps Release Engineer:
*Demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) as a DevOps Release Engineer or similar roles. Experience with EIS policy admin system will be highly desirable.
*Proven experience and hands on experience with wide range of DevOps toolchain – Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Git / GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium.
*Experience with cloud technologies – Azure e.g. Kubernetes, App Services, Azure Functions etc. and proficiency in managing cloud-based infrastructure.
