Job Description:
An international group, selling into the Food, Environmental and Agricultural markets across the UK & Europe requires a proactive Sales Executive to maximise their growth potential.
BASIC SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000

LOCATION: This is a hybrid role based in Corby.
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Northampton, Market Harborough, Peterborough, Kettering, Leicester, Stamford
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Sales Executive, Internal Sales - Food Industry
Reporting to our Area Sales Director, you will be predominantly selling to Quality, Technical and Process improvement type people. We are a small team in the UK with an established customer base and desire for growth, our group have over 200 colleagues across Europe as well as 3 manufacturing sites in France and Italy. This is a technical sales role and comes with a high level of autonomy.
Your main responsibilities will be:
· Working closely with our Marketing team to identify key players and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead qualification.
· Outbound cold calls and emails by data (i.e. LinkedIn) and support the sales team with customer mapping activities.
· Routing qualified leads and opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
· Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects and updating the CRM (SalesForce) accordingly.
· Interacting with customers after sales concerning lead times for customer and any after sale services required.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Sales Executive, Internal Sales - Food Industry
Ideally, you’ll have worked within the food industry in a sales environment although we’re pretty open to your background. What’s most important to us is you’ll be self-motivated, with great communication skills.
You must also:
· Be proficient with Microsoft Office.
· Have proven success within a telesales environment and experience of making dozens of dials per day.
· Possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal skills at all levels.
