The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated van drivers to join the team.
Hours: 10am start / 6 days a week across Monday to Saturday
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour PAYE.
Location: Carlisle, CA3
Job Type: Ongoing
The role:
-Safely and efficiently transport goods and products to designated locations
- Load and unload delivery vehicles
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements:
- A valid UK driver’s license with 1-year proven van experience.
-Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
-Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
-Excellent time management and organisational skills.
