Assistant Audit Manager - £50,000 to £56,000 per year - Reading - Hybrid
FryerMiles are excited to be partnering with a top 10 accounting firm, to assist in hiring for an Assistant Audit Manager.
Responsibilities include:
*Manage audit assignments from planning to finalisation, identifying risks and providing solutions.
*Demonstrate strong writing, research, and presentation skills, being proficient in MS Office.
*Serve as the primary point of contact, anticipating and addressing client needs.
*Communicate effectively, considering reputational, operational, and credit risks.
*Monitor budget progress, manage timelines, and identify areas for improvement in client processes.
*Identify business development opportunities and contribute to client growth.
*Commit to team success, fostering a positive attitude and initiative to improve processes.
*Treat colleagues with fairness and respect, and offer constructive feedback for growth.
*Mentor and coach junior staff, providing on-the-job training and sharing knowledge.
*Influence activities internally and externally, shaping directions and outcomes.
Desired skills:
*ACA/ACCA/CA qualified
*Strong auditing experience and knowledge of accounting standards
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
*Passionate about client service with a results-driven approach
*Eager to develop personally and achieve career goals
